Two weeks ago, at the beginning of October, classes began for the Master in Sustainability Management taught by the UPF Barcelona School of Management, whose program seeks, in the words of the university itself, to offer the technical and strategic keys to make sustainability one of the central axes in the management of a company or institution.
At the José Luis Massó Private Foundation, we believe that sustainability is a very important factor to take into account both now and in the future, and therefore it is very important to train the new generations in this field based on the three axes or dimensions that make up sustainability: environmental, economic and social.
Since our foundation, we have believed it important to participate and help those people who want to make the world a better place and seek to improve the environments within different organizations and communities.
This year, at the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 academic year of the UPF Barcelona School of Management, where they welcomed more than 1,500 students of 66 nationalities, we had the immense pleasure of seeing how Mara Valeria Mercado, one of our Foundation’s scholarship recipients for this academic year, was chosen as one of three students to speak at the welcome ceremony.
We are very proud of all the students who strive every day to improve and advance in their future, since their progress as individuals and professionals is our progress as a society.
